One Friday each month (as scheduled below), 11am - 3pm

Dye almost 4 yards of fabric in a rainbow gradation of 30 colors! Each student will develop 30 fat-eighths of 100% cotton fabric in a beautiful spectrum of hues. You can manipulate the dyeing process to make your fabric set as solid or as mottled as you wish.

Flirty 30 meets every month to dye a rainbow of colors!  Kit choices are listed below — we encourage you to come in and see the beautiful color variations.  New and experienced dyers are welcome.  Join us for one or all of the sessions to gather a gorgeous stash of hand-dyed fabrics!

• Rainforest (Greens-Teals-Blues)
• Stones & Shells (Creamy Neutrals)
• Fiery Blend (Yellows-Oranges-Reds)
• Painted Desert (spectrum tempered with Rusts)
• Autumn Blend (Greens-Yellows-Oranges)
• Change of Seasons (medium intensity spectrum, heavy in the Blues)
• Prism (very saturated, full spectrum of colors)
• Purple Passion (as the name suggests…)
• Earthy Blend (deep, strong, full spectrum)
• Sea & Sky (Blues and Purples)
• Tutti Frutti (soft, creamy, full spectrum)

Note:

We invite 1-2 experienced dyers to act as student helpers in exchange for 50% off your class fee! Student helpers will rinse out the fabrics either late Friday or early Saturday. Please indicate you are interested in helping when making your reservation for the class. Thank you!

Equipment:

CQ will provide all of the equipment. Please wear comfy, old clothing.

Lunch:

Please bring a brown-bag lunch to this class. A refrigerator, freezer, toaster, and microwave are available for your use.
