Creative Journaling - [M2M] Workshop

Express yourself in a creative journal while learning new techniques!
Join us each month to build a creative journal using whatever multi-media techniques you wish! Writing, quilting, collage, photography, knitting, scrapbooking… however you want to express yourself.
The first meeting of the month will involve:
- Show-n-tell of last month’s journal pieces (for those who feel comfortable in sharing)
- Discussions with those experienced in journaling
- Introduction of the month’s journal theme, chosen by your fellow journalists
- Previous topics include: Spring, Green(s), Structure, and Emotion or Mood
- The topic is only a suggestion or challenge; each person may choose whether to express the theme in their journal that month
- Start working on that month’s journal design
The second meeting of the month is a creative play day, in which we will:
- Share interesting journaling techniques
- Work on our pieces in a social, collaborative environment
Develop a creative journal, share your journey with a supportive group, and learn various skills and techniques to apply in other areas of your artistic life! This workshop is open to all levels of artistic and crafting experience. We can all learn from each other… please join us at any time!
Equipment:
Bring whatever you feel might help you to develop your journal. We will also have some products and equipment on hand at CQ.
