Prerequisite:  Experiments in Color - Part I

Continue the amazing exploration!  Learn more about the action and interaction of color than you ever thought possible through hands-on experiments with renowned artist and FAU professor Janet Siegel Rogers. A continuing sequence of interrelated problems builds on the knowledge developed in Experiments in Color - Part I to raise the participant’s sensitivity and awareness of color to new levels.  Students have used this class to aid in all aspects of their creative lives, including: quilting, painting, sewing, scrapbooking, art appreciation, home decoration and design, teaching, or just learning more about color in the world around us…  This class is for you!

This workshop will complete the experiments in the Josef Albers’ color study course, which is taught in fine arts programs around the world. (School teachers will receive a certificate of participation equal to 10 CEUs.)  The professor will also include additional experiments developed by Albers’ students that push beyond the master’s original teachings!

Our affiliation with the artist allows Crafters Quarters to offer this $250 workshop at a deeply-discounted price!

Equipment: All equipment for this course will be supplied by Crafters Quarters.  Students must bring their Color Aid paper from the Part I workshop.  Additional boxes of Color Aid will also be available for purchase.
