Help Françoise test the latest Patchwork Quilt Creations pattern before she publishes it for the masses!

Christmas Pines can be used as a gorgeous wall-hanging or centerpiece.  You can make it with holiday fabric, winter prints, solids, batiks, or perhaps Adirondack pieces to give it a woodsy feel.  Finished size:  34″ x 34″

Participants will be asked to follow the pattern on their own.  Françoise will be available to answer questions and take suggestions.  However, the purpose of this offering is to improve the pattern for publication, so this is not an instructor-led workshop.

Requirements

• Fabric (can be purchased at CQ before workshop)
  • Border, backing, hearts:  1 ¾ yds
  • Christmas trees, binding:  ¾ yd
  • Light print: 1 3/8 yds
  • Dark print: 5/8 yd
• Notions
  • Double-stick fusible web:  4 sheets of 9 x 12 inches, or ½ yard (can be purchased at CQ before workshop)
  • Batting: 40 x 40 inches (can be purchased at CQ)
  • Thread:  Green or invisible for the Christmas trees (can be purchased at CQ)
• Optional Notions
  • Quilter’s plastic template sheets, to copy shapes from enclosed paper templates:  1 sheet of 12 x 18 inches (can be purchased at CQ)
  • Ribbons & gems to decorate the trees
• Skills
  • Advanced beginner quilting skills (should know how to fuse fabric, if possible)
