Join Ellen to learn how to create a beautiful block by using paper-piecing and templates.

Ellen’s quilts always elicit a gasp of appreciation from everyone who sees them.  Her fabulous color choices and beautiful points in her elegant quilts take your breath away!

Prerequisite Skills

This class is suitable for just about everyone — advanced beginner to expert sewers and quilters.  All you need to be able to do is:

• use your machine,
• sew in a straight line,
• sew on very slight curves, and
• press fabric.

Equipment & Supplies

• Sewing machine (you may also pre-reserve a CQ machine at no extra cost)
• Assorted fabric scraps (you may also use the CQ scraps at no extra charge)
• Assorted thread colors

Actual block pattern to be used in the workshop is similar to the photo, but with slightly fewer points.
