Quilt ‘Til You Wilt!
Instructor: Ann Cummings
Use your scraps and those available at CQ to create one of the most popular quilt patterns ever, the log cabin OR work on any U(n) F(inished) O(bject) you wish!
Got a project you need to finish but have been putting it off? This evening is the perfect opportunity to make some progress. If, instead, you would like to learn how to create log cabin blocks, Ann will show you how to chain-piece multiple blocks at a time. You will be surprised at how many you can make in a single sitting. Before you know it, you will have enough blocks for whatever size quilt you want to make! There are so many fabulous layouts you will never get tired of making these blocks. Ann will also share tips on how to make two-color and controlled-scrappy log cabin quilts.
Log cabin quilts are a wonderful stash buster… Or you can use the CQ scrap bins to make a quilt top without having to buy more fabric. You will also be taught how to
use the AccuQuilt cutting system to make your quilt top even faster.
Potluck supper! Please bring a favorite dish to share.
Be comfy! Wear your most comfortable clothes or even PJs! Slippers are highly encouraged.
