Master Seamtress Deby Ryan will be at the CQ studio for FREE personal consultations. Bring in your alterations, upholstery, or garment design issues and she’ll offer her advice based on over 3 decades of experience. Then you can decide whether you’d like to tackle it on your own, book a class, or have Deby do all the work for you! No high-pressure sales, just great advice.

- NEW! Block of the Month!
- On the first Wednesday each month, one of the Oh Scrappers will present a block
- Each member will make the block out of the scraps of their choice
- At the end, you will have a completely unique quilt — and you may learn a few new skills along the way!
- Jump in anytime — this is an ongoing club, so you can start your BOM at any point
- Cut your fabric scraps into common quilt-ready sizes (you may use the AccuQuilt Studio cutting system to speed up the process!)
- Organize your scraps to make quilting the pieces easy and fun
- Exchange scraps with others to gather the colors, prints, tones, or sizes you need for your projects
- Sew your own scrap quilts and share them with others
- Discover various scrap quilt patterns and decide whether to use them for your next patchwork project!

If good things come in small packages, shouldn’t the package look just as good? Now, just in time for holiday giving, you can learn to fold elegant and intriguing paper boxes and containers ideally suited for beads, baubles, buttons, bonbons, and other small delights. Whether you use them for packaging holiday gifts, or as handy receptacles in your sewing studio, kitchen, or office, these boxes may be made from leftover gift wrap, bags, or eye-catching art paper. Recycling never looked so beautiful!
In this 2-hour workshop, participants will learn a minimum of 5 folding techniques, including a square masu box with lid and four-partition divider, a triangle bag with hinged lid; a rectangular open box; and a starburst pouch. Take-home diagrams and website references will also be provided.
Materials Fee: $5 will be paid directly to instructor on the day of class.

Create beautiful gifts, either for yourself or for another special someone…
Local artist Lisa Phillips of Li Shan Designs will step you through the creative process while mixing in some laughs! In this class you will learn to use various colors and techniques and take home two different hand-painted exotic silk scarves.

Crafters Quarters is pleased to host the 2nd Annual Amesbury Community Holiday Gift Wrapping Party! We will have paper, ribbon, tape, and bows on-hand for you to package up your holiday presents and gifts. Come enjoy hot cider, great company, and fun wrapping!
Cathy and Lisa will be on hand to demonstrate how to create gorgeous, unique ribbon bows for your gifts. Bring in any ribbons — fabric or otherwise — that you’d like to try!
The holiday gift wrapping party is FREE! Donations will be accepted for Our Neighbors Table. We will accept money, non-perishable foods, and toiletries to be distributed to local people in need.
Please note that only responsible, well-supervised children are invited to attend this event.
To enjoy time with our families, Crafters Quarters will be closed during the end-of-year holidays as indicated below:
- December 24-27
- December 31-January 1
We will be open as usual December 29-30, and will reopen as usual on Saturday, January 2.
