Crafters Quarters has the longarm solution for you!  Crafters Quarters’ longarm quilting machine has a gorgeous stitch regulator and is very easy to use.  After much research and extensive testing, our longarm easily beat its competition. We know you will be just as impressed as we are!

Prodigy 24″ Longarm Quilting Machine

Crafters Quarters’ Prodigy system is fully equipped with amenities such as:

  • The most beautiful stitch regulator on the market
  • 24″ throat for wide patterns
  • Controls in front and back for freehand quilting or pantograph work
  • 12′ table with electrically-controlled hydraulic lifts to accommodate most heights (including quilting while seated!)
  • Micro-handles for small stipple work
  • Both regular and black lights to give better contrast while quilting
  • Electric advance to help you work on your quilt efficiently and quickly

Longarm Setup & Safety Class

A setup, safety, and practice class is a prerequisite for anyone renting the Prodigy Quilting Machine.

The Longarm Setup & Safety class concentrates on the requirements to setup and safely use the longarm to create gorgeous designs on your quilting projects.  We’ll show you how to use the fun and easy longarm quilting machine!  Just call to schedule your lesson.

There are two options for the class:

Private Training Session

  • Timing: Approximately 4 hours.  2 hours of personal training with the instructor plus 2 hours of practice time quilting on the longarm with tips, hints, and challenges from our staff.
  • Price: $150 ($125 for CQ Members)

Duo Training Session

  • Timing: Approximately 6 hours.  2 hours of two-on-one training with the instructor plus 2 hours each of practice time quilting on the longarm.  The practice schedule can be spread over two days (within the same week) so you don’t have to be in the studio for 6 hours straight.
  • Price:  $95 per person ($80 for CQ Members)

Longarm Rental

During the Longarm Setup & Safety Class you will learn all about renting the longarm, but the basics are that:

  • You must have taken our Longarm Setup & Safety Class to rent the machine
  • Rental price is $20 per hour ($15 for CQ Members)
  • Two-hour minimum rental time
  • Rental includes thread!
