During the month of April, Crafters Quarters is proud to present four of our own artists at the Wick’d Kool Gallery on Friend St! The MassQuilts Documentation team came to the Crafters Quarters studio to document over 30 historic quilts! Pieces brought in by local quilt owners included a Victorian crazy quilt as well as a family heirloom rescued just before Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. Crafters Quarters was pleased to donate our studio on February 15th to ConKerr Cancer! Over 400 pillowcases were donated by volunteers, including those from the Seabreeze Quilt Guild in Exeter, NH. Read a more about the project by following this link to the Newburyport Daily News.
