We been asked over and over to allow folks to support and use the Crafters

Carmen Morreale
You hear an ominous click, the thread breaks, and the hand wheel won’t budge. Uh-oh. What just happened to your machine? Should you send it in for repairs? How can you avoid this problem in the future?
We cannot imagine a better guide to the inner workings of your sewing machine than our technical repair wizard Carmen Morreale! First of all, he has actually seen the insides of many of our machines, plus countless others! Second, he has taken the time to actually send out a survey (remember that?) to find out what you would like him to cover in the class. Based on the survey results, he has put together a class that will help you trouble-shoot mechanical problems and prevent them in the first place.
This will be a three-hour tour (a three-hour tour…) that you and your sewing machine will not want to miss! Think about how much happier you and your machine will be–and how much you will save in repair bills!
Workshop Fee: $80 (Members: $70)

Carol Entin
Creating pastepapers is akin to sophisticated finger painting for grownups. Carol will show you various techniques to make absolutely gorgeous colorwashes and elegant designs on quality paper. Come and rediscover your inner kindergartener! Every piece of paper is attractive, no matter what you do!
To create our pastepapers, we will use a cooked paste to which acrylic paints are added. The thick colored paste is brushed onto wet paper and textured using anything for a tool - hands, spatulas, banana peels, combs, sponges, sneaker tread - anything goes! We will also use Carol’s collection of textured rollers specifically designed to create beautiful repeating patterns.
